Music Moves Kids was founded in 2010 by professional opera singer, Erin Armstrong and her now retired music teaching mom, Mrs. A.
Music Moves Kids offers children a place to explore their musical interests freely in a safe place, while offering diversified performance opportunties.
You can participate in the children’s choir, music theatre intensive camp weeks, summer and March Break camps, or private lessons.
Music Moves Kids concerts often take donations for various charities. Since 2010 MMK has reached over 1500 children and raised over $8,000.00 for local charities.
Music Camps
We LOVE music and this is a large part of camp, however, our camps offer lots of activities for our campers to enjoy: music, drama, crafts, science, free time, BOB the whale and many other activities. Each year has its own unique theme in which most songs, crafts and activities revolve around. Camp is one of our most enjoyable times of the year, we love fostering the joy of music and learning in our youth.
There are currently four camp options available.
March Break Camp
Music Theatre Intensive Jr (Ages 6 – 12)
Music Theatre Intensive Sr (Ages 13 – 19)
Summer Day Camp
Private Lessons
Erin Armstrong has been teaching voice now for over two decades to students of all levels and ages. With her operatic training, her focus is on classical, music theatre and folk styles. With years of professional vocals as well as a background in piano and guitar, comprehensive musical education is delivered every time. Prepare for auditions, grow as an artist or just learn a new hobby!

Children's Choir
Music Moves Kids children’s choir was founded in 2013 and are excited this year to expand! We are now offering, for the first time, our toddler choir (Ages 2 – 4) and we are bringing back our Junior and Senior!
We rehearse Mondays at UMEI, 614 Mersea Rd. 6.
6:00 – 6:30 pm (Toddler Choir, Ages 2-4)
6:00 – 6:45 pm (Junior Choir, Ages 5 – 11)
6:45 – 8:00 pm (Senior Choir, Ages 12 -19)
Tot & Toddler Classes
Keep your little one busy and engaged while building the fundamentals of music making and early literacy! These 45 minute group classes are divided by age group from as early as 3 months to 7 years and run for 6 or 12 weeks at a time.
Classes run Thursdays at Leamington United Church, 9 John St. Leamington
9:20 – Parent and Tot (Ages 3 – 18 months)
10:20 – Toddler I (Ages 18 – 36 months)
11:20 – Toddler II (Ages 3 – 4)
*Parents/guardians accompany their tot to class.
